More Wishes for Kisses this holiday season!

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
I almost forgot to remind everybody that [info]wishkisses is live again this season with separate rounds going in InsaneJournal and over at LiveJournal, too.

The rules are a little different this year, more open. What you wish for is a topic and then lots and lots of stories can be posted in the comments. So far, IJ only mistletoe and cookies have been wished for, but I have a Changmin/Lina/Stephanie story posted under mistletoe. Over in Live Journal, the topics are -- mistletoe (I have a Stephanie/Changmin kiss there), snow, candlelight, and silk.

Head on over! Read the comments, write a kiss, make a wish. :D

The morning calm and the rising sun are just beginnings.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Five years ago, five boys, exhausted and excited, were glued to the TV waiting to see if their song had been cut out of the special they'd performed in the night before. They didn't get cut out. In fact, that night, something in the world shifted. They were only little gods at that point and just starting their ascent, but Dong Bang Shin Ki had arrived. Five years later and when I hear comments about DBSK having reached the top, I snicker to myself. They've just cleared the horizon, the day for these gods has just begun.

December and January are usually a fallow time for me as far as writing goes, so since I didn't get anything new finished to share for the boys' 5th anniversary (or for the holidays) I thought I'd put some older stuff in a form that some people seems to like. I've formatted the first 10 stories of the Sweet Harmony series and put them into a PDF file. Here it is.

Thank you to everyone who supports these beautiful men -- then, now, and in the future.

Feels like home today

I was wondering at the beginning of the month, as I passed by some sturdy roses still in bloom, if I would miss winter if it didn't quite arrive. Guess I'm not going to find out this year. Most of coastal BC is experiencing a rare white Xmas, and I went for a walk this morning to get some pictures before it melted.

DBSK: Sweet Harmony #17 - Surprise Guest Vocal (Album Version)

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Title: Surprise Guest Vocal (Album Version)
Series: Sweet Harmony #17
Rating: Explicit.
Pairing: Yoochun/Jaejoong

Author's Notes: This is a revision of the story posted in June. I was very unhappy with it. These stories can't be rushed and I rushed that one. It still follows closely with #16, so won't make sense without having read that one first.

Author's Special Notes:For ranaloreRana, and not just because it's her birthday. *HUGS*

I get no say in this. )

Still on the move

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Fic writing isn't getting done tonight. Since it's RL's fault might as well write about that.

So 6 months and 7 days ago, I landed in the Pacific Time Zone to find myself a life. People kept saying I should get one, so I was willing to give it a try. I took my time, went on a few holidays, got nicely settled, and found a source of income by the beginning of September. It wasn't a great job, I decided within a couple of weeks that I was going to use it to keep myself afloat until I found something better. Then Dad got sick and when I had to go back to see him in October, I resigned. It was easier for all involved -- I wouldn't have to worry about getting back to work, and they would be more inclined to give me a good reference if they aren't feeling screwed over by holding a job that I was trying to leave. So November was job hunting month again. I started my new job on Dec 4th. This one is a keeper, I think, at least the compensation is worth any lack of job satisfaction.

I've been living here for six months and it doesn't feel like home yet. I don't feel rooted. I'm really hoping that this job will do that, but I think it will really only provide the security I need to feel able to stretch out in other directions. And I've found another reason to hold off on digging in. I'm not fond of the place I live, (the car alarm that's been going off every hour all day today isn't helping!) so I don't want to get to attached to this neighbourhood. But the lease isn't up for the next six months, so I can indulge my procrastination until then.

I keep reminding myself that it will take time. It takes at least a year for anyone to really get to know me, why shouldn't it take that long for me to get to know my new home. And I am committed to making it my home. Even if it doesn't look that way from the outside yet.

Fic: Defying Description (OT5)

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Title: Defying Description
Character/Pairing: Everybody!
Rating: Like Mirotic, 19+. (It's a little bit explicit and a little bit kinky.)
Summary: Is that a scarf in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

Author's Notes: I wasn't sure if I was going to post this as it seemed like the time for Mirotic fic had passed. Then came the "19+" restriction and the irony was too much to resist. ranaloreRana audienced but all mistakes are mine.

I don't know what you're so worried about. I think the PV speaks for itself )

The state of things and stuff

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
So this is me being good and letting everyone know that: a) still alive, b) moving closer to a steady source of income (I quit my job when I had to go back to Wpg in October), and c) words are being written.

Since last update:

SH#17 - Finished! Being betaed COMING SOON!

SH#18 - About half done. Everybody's nekkid at least.

CSJH X-over - Haven't touched it since Oct.

Mirotic Bondage PWP - Finished. Afraid to edit it.

Toddler!DBSK - Written and POSTED! I have been informed that there will be others in this 'verse. I even have a series title. *SIGH*

Nuna Exchange Fic - 1500 words written, still no sign of a plot.

SH#19 - Deleted everything that had been written. HAVE YOU SEEN THE YUNCHUN CRACK VIDS?! Completely...twisted the dynamic.

I should go and write my Christmas cards now. *GROAN*

Fic: Hope in Small Things (OT...6)

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Title: Hope in Small Things
Character/Pairing: All & a brother
Rating: Preschool level sex and violence
Summary: The JunTwins' first day at daycare.

Author's Notes: The ages in this story are Korean ages where the day of your birth is counted as your first birthday, so subtract one for the more common counting. Thanks to ranaloreRana and Tom McRea for the title. And Rana again for fixing my creative punctuation.
